Biography

Simeon was a shipwright.

Simeon Nash. Born on 8 May 1717 in Scituate, MA.

Simeon was baptized on 1 Jul 1717.33 He was baptized at home 'being sick'.

In 1754, Thomas Briant assaulted Simeon and was brought to court and fined. Thomas violently threw a stone and hit Simeon in the left eye causing injury. Thomas was found guilty and appealed.[1]

Simeon died in Albany, NY on 1 Jun 1759; he was 42. Simeon was a soldier in the French War, and died at Ticonderoga in 1759 with smallpox.

Occupation: shipwright and sailor.

Probate

Simeon Nash, of Scituate, shipwright died intestate and on 6 December 1764, his widow Lydia was granted the administration of his estate.[2]

His inventory was taken on 6 December 1764 om Scituate. In 1765, an account of his estate by his widow Lydia was recorded which included, necessaries for housekeeping and administration fees. She represented his estate as insolvent, and no estate remained.[3]
