Biography

• Thomas Nash II, son of Capt. Thomas Nash I, was born at Fairfield, Connecticut 3 Aug 1708.^[1]
• Thomas Nash married Rebecca Hull of Fairfield 28 Sept 1731.^{[1] [2]}They had six children: Rebecca, Elizabeth, Eunice, Lydia, Thomas, and Mary.^[1]
• Capt. Thomas Nash II followed in the steps of his father, being a Deacon of the church, and a captain in the Militia.^[1]
• Capt. Thomas Nash II died at Fairfield, 2 Aug 1769.^[1] His wife Rebecca (Hull) Nash died 22 April 1791.^[1]
• In his will dated 24 July 1769 and proved on 24 August 1769^[3], Thomas made the following provisions:
  1. To wife Rebecca Nash: "my negro boy named Samyon (sp?) during the time she remains my widow
  2. To son Thomas Nash: negro boys Cesar & Peter
  3. To daughter Eunice Davis
  4. Daughters Rebecca, Elizabeth & Lidia

His inventory was taken on 1 October 1769.^[4]
