"Funeral of Mrs. Eleanor Dixey.--On Wednesday afternoon the remains of Mrs. Eleanor Dixey, for many years the hostess of the Rose and Crown Inn, were consigned to their last resting-place in the churchyard amid token of general respect. The deceased was in her 66th year. Her urbanity and kindness of disposition will be long remembered by a large circle of friends."[8]
