Jasper Lafayette Nation was born June 28, 1899 to Absalom Nation and Margaret (Gilmore) Nation in Ellis County, Texas. [11] [12] [16] Jasper passed away January 30, 1997 in Oklahoma. [14] [15] He was laid to rest at Altus Cemetery Altus, Jackson County, Oklahoma, Rev3-A, Lot 50 C. [15]
