Thanks for your good work. Just FYI: Logical as it may seem to add the clarifying information "(United States)" after a colonial place name like "Province of New York," we don't do that in WikiTree. The system throws up an error message when it finds parentheses in a place name, and anyway we assume that "Province of New York" is a sufficiently complete place designation. :-)
Thank you for self-certifying for the Pre-1700 badge! Participation in a Pre-1700 Project is strongly encouraged for those wishing to edit Pre-1700 profiles. Collaboration is essential because pre-1700 ancestors are shared by many descendants.
It looks like the US History Project would be a good fit with the tag you entered. Adding the tag United_States_History will help you get updates about activity for that project.
Do you have any questions? Let me know. I'm happy to help! :-)

Sometimes links don't work in emails. If that's happened to you, check the public comments on your profile. The links will work from there.

Since you are using the GEDCOMpare process to create some profiles, I thought the GEDCOMpare process tutorial might come in handy. Also, the FAQ page for the Ancestry templates which can create direct links to various Ancestry profiles, records, and images.
I'm here to help & another member of the Greeters Project will touch base in a couple of weeks.

P.S. If links do not work in an email from WikiTree, try them from the comment section on your profile page.
Start with the New Member How-To Pages - they are really useful as you add profiles and learn your way around:
Let me know if you require assistance. I am happy to help. After adding my own family and ancestors I have found many cousins and distant ancestors here on WikiTree.
