Lettie “Maedeen” “Nanny” Naylor-Bass, 88, of Eastover, NC, passed away on August 26, 2015, at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born on May 29, 1927, in Sampson County, NC.
She was preceded in death by her husband O.C. Bass, Sr. and her parents, Darius Naylor and Lettie Lee-Naylor.
She is survived by one daughter Ruth Bass Burchett, of Eastover, NC; one son O.C. Bass Jr., of Hope Mills, NC; five grandchildren Marty Burchett, Laura Adams, Larry Burchett, Jennifer Nash, and William Bass; eight great-grandchildren Danielle Mason, Robby Adams, Ryan Adams, Rachel Burchett, Nathan Burchett, Samantha Burchett, Sarah Burchett, and Brady Nash; one great-grandchild soon to be with us.
The funeral services will be conducted at Sullivan’s Highland Funeral Service. The burial services will follow at Lafayette Memorial Park. Online condolences may be sent to sullivanshighland.com. Services are entrusted to Sullivan’s Highland Funeral Service & Crematory, of Fayetteville, NC.
