Image: Civil_War_Flags-2.gif Confederate veteran. George lied about his age to get into the army and was assigned to the Bethel Regiment (1st, also 11th NC). He was wounded (his left arm being amputated) and captured at Gettysburg and retired to the invalid corps. A table he made after the war is in my (Pip's) possession.
