The 1858 Immigration record for Mary Ann Neal states that she was born in St ???, Cornwall. Many Ancestry.com Trees have Mary Ann Neal being born in Norfolk and Marrying the same Edward Dingle.

Biography

Mary Anne Neale, daughter of John Neale & Mary, was baptised on 10 May 1835 in Saint Wenn, Cornwall, England. ^[1]

In 1841, 'Mary Nail' (age 7) lived with her parents John and Mary at St Wenn.

Mary Ann Neal (Age 21) (Servant), native of Cornwall, arrived at Sydney, New South Wales, Australia on 4 August 1858 on ship 'Fitz James'. Her parents were John & Mary - both Dead. (Age is about 2 years young !!) The ship departed from London. ^{[2] [3]}

Mary Ann Varks Neall married Edward Dingle in 1859 in Gayndah, New South Wales. (The Marriage record is the only one that includes the middle name of 'Varks'. Her mother was Mary Ann Varcoe.) ^[4]

After giving Birth to 11 children, Mary Ann died on 31 July 1907 and was buried in Mount Perry, North Burnett Region, Queensland, Australia. Headstone says Age 74. ^[5]
