Gertrude Phebe Neale (married name Cooke) was born on 8 October 1899 in Tea Tree Gully, South Australia, the daughter of Elizabeth (Verrall) Neale and Walter Gibbs Neale.[1]
She married Charles Birdsey Cooke on 17 November 1923 at the Methodist Church on Pirie Street in Adelaide, South Australia.[2] Their daughter was:[citation needed]
- Brenda Mary Cooke (1926–1995)
Gertrude died on 24 March 1985,[3] aged 85 years.
