Biography
Major Robert Morier Sheffield Neave MC MRC was born on 12 June 1917.
He was the son of Colonel Richard Neave and Helen Elizabeth Mary Miller.
He married Philippa Elizabeth Ramsden, daughter of Lt.-Col. Vincent Basil Ramsden and Marjorie Elsie Philipps, on 13 September 1952.
He died on 21 September 1995 at age 78. He was educated at Sherborne School, Sherborne, Dorset, England. He was educated at London University, London, England. He fought in the Second World War, where he was wounded. He gained the rank of Major in the service of the 13th/18th Hussars (Special Reserve). He was decorated with the award of the Military Cross (M.C.). He was with the Colonial Service in Kenya and Cyprus between 1948 and 1956. He was registered as a Member, Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons (M.R.C.V.S.).
