Arthur Friedrich Hugo Nebe is born November 13, 1894 in Berlin, Berlin, Germany. He is a son of Wilhelm Robert Adolf Nebe and Bertha Emilie Elisabeth.
Nebe is a key functionary in the security and police apparatus of Nazi Germany and a Holocaust perpetrator.
Nebe is involved in the July 20th plot against Adolf Hitler. After the failed assassination attempt, Nebe fled and went into hiding on an island in the Wannsee. He is arrested in January 1945, after a former mistress betrayed him. Nebe is sentenced to death by the People's Court on March 2 and, according to official records, is executed in Berlin at Plötzensee Prison on March 21, 1945 by being hanged with piano wire from a meat hook, in accordance with Hitler's order that the bomb plotters were to be "hanged like cattle".
