Biography

Margaret was born 29 December 1877 at Tirgarvil, Maghera, County Londonderry. She was the daughter of Peggy Smyth and Abraham Neil. [1]

On 25 January 1915 at Churchtown Presbyterian Church, Tamlaght O'Crilly, she married Robert John Kinney, a farmer of Upperlands, Maghera. Witnessed by John Spallin(?) and Lizzie Smyth. Margaret lived at Gorteade at this time. [2]

She passed away about 1940. [3]

Neill-1243 and Neil-2088 appear to represent the same person because: Clearly same person - father's name Abraham, uncommon name for the area.

Maybe LNAB should be Neil (with one L) - that was how it appeared on the civil birth registration and the 1901 census.
