Biography
Mary Jane Neil was born in 1854, New South Wales.
On 23rd June 1875, at the Gracemere Protestant Church, she married John Jones, eldest son of David Jones of Table Mountain. At this time her father was described as "of Kenkendoo".[1]
Aside from three living children, they had two who died young: Walter, Oct 1877-Nov 1877, and Isabella (Mar 1881-Mar 1882).
She died in 1892 and was buried 'at home' on the property.[2]
