Biography
Thomas Uriel Neill was born September 5,1837 in Bloomfield, Stoddard County Missouri. He is the son of Thomas Neill and Virginia Elizabeth Baker. in 1862, he served in the Company C of Preston's Battalion first as a private than as a corporal in the Confederate Missouri Cavalry. Later consolidated with the 4th Regiment, Missouri Cavalry. July 4,1869 He married his first wife Hannah Elizabeth Kinder (1838-1878). They had two children. After the death of Hannah he married Virginia Elizabeth Baker (1859-1910). They had five children. He died May 20, 1924.
