1910 census shows Clyde as a son, aged 17, in Eliza J.’s household. Eliza is now a widow and her daughters, Mary J., age 25 and Ruth L. aged 21, are living with her. Both daughters are Cigar Makers. Eliza has no occupation. She has had 13 children and 9 are still living. The family lives at 712 Race Street.
1920 Census lived with Frank and Nell Michener. Frank was his Brother-in-law. Clyde was 27, single and a clerk for the railroad. Nell Michener was really his aunt, not his sister.
1930 census still lived with the Micheners (Frank and “Ella”) and he was a lodger, still single and a car inspector for the Railroad. He was 40 according to the information on the census.
1940 census her was married to Margaret, was a certified welder, age 47, Margaret was 52 and they had a son Earle who was 29 married to Gladys age 25 with a grandson, William, age 3. They rented at 359 Nectarine St., in Hbg.

John M. Harner, 74, a life long resident of the western section of the county, died suddenly at his home in Hegins Township Monday afternoon.
He was born in Hubley Township, a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. David Harner.
To survive he leaves his wife, Elizabeth, and the following children: Mrs. Harvey Huntzinger, Hegins; Mrs. Clyde Neiss, Harrisburg; Irvin, Good Springs; Norman, James, Rufus E., Fred, Mrs. John Wolfgang, Mrs. Clyde Schucker, Mrs. Arthur Morgan and Roy, all of Valley View. There are 51 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren, three brothers, Charles and Francis of Mt. Carmel, and William of Tremont.
The funeral will be held Friday.
