The ten children identified in this record include: Lydia Nelson born 24 September 1746 married to Alexander Moorehead; John Nelson born on 18 July 1747 married Mary Young; Ann (Nanny)Nelson born 11 January 1749 married Josiah Fishback; Mary Nelson born 2 March 1751 married ______ Rector; Margaret Nelson born 18 August 1753 unmarried in 1784; Jesse Nelson born 22 January 1756; Jemima Nelson married Charles Utterback 7 September 1789; Lettice Nelson married George Shumate 28 June 1794; Sarah Nelson unmarried in 1784, no marriage found; William Nelson married Elizabeth Moorehead 17 December 1798. The births of the last four children are not known but they are listed in the order they appeared in the will of their father.
