Biography
George Nelson was born on April 17, 1840[1] in Georgia to Ashley Nelson and Nancy Malcom.[2]
According to the 1860 census, George lived with his parents and siblings in Union County, Louisiana.[2]
On March 24, 1868, George married Louisa Denton in Union County, Louisiana.[3]
George died on August 25, 1913. He is buried in the Bethel Cemetery in Lillie, Louisiana.[1]
