Mildred Walker Nelson was born on 6 December 1801 in Albemarle County, Virginia, according to the SAR applications completed by her descendants (seeking another source). Her parents were Hugh Nelson and Eliza (Kinloch) Nelson.
On 18 October 1820, Mildred married her cousin, Thomas Frederick Nelson, in Albemarle County, Virginia.[1][2] Her father's note granting permission for marriage, states her full name--Mildred Walker Nelson.[3]
The date of Mildred's death is unknown, but by 1860 (and quite possibly 1850), she does not appear in the census with her husband and may have died. (Unsourced trees offer date of 11 April 1841.)
