Jennie was born to Anna Trondsdatter and Nils Haldorsen on 16[1][2] June 1859 in Strandi, Kvam, Hordaland, Norway.[3][4] She was baptised between 19-26 June 1859.[5][6]We see her in the 1865[7] and 1875[8] censuses in Norway with her extended family and nuclear family, respectively. She appears on a passenger arrival list in New York as Jorand Nilson.[9] In 1894 she married Christopher Julson in Wells County, North Dakota.[10] In the 1900 to 1930 censuses she appears with her husband and children in Hamberg, Wells County.[11][12][13][14][15][16] She passed away in 1935.[17]
