Biography

Eleanor/Ellenore was born 28 November 1892 in Escanaba, Delta, Michigan. She is the daughter of Carl Albert Nelson and Charlotta Maria Foschman. She was baptized 8 January 1893 at the Bethany Lutheran Church. ^{[1] [2] [3]}

Eleanor married Harvey Andrew Ostrand on 19 January 1916 in Ashtabula, Ohio. ^[2] Harvey and Eleanor were living in Chicago at the time of Robert's birth in 1919. She was 25. ^{[4] [5]}

By the time of the 1930 census, the family was in Sturgeon Bay, Wisconsin. ^[6]

Eleanor died young from cancer, possibly at age 37. ^[7]
