David married at Sandyville, Tuscarawas, Ohio, 13 Oct 1836, Mary Ann Chambers born at Martinsburg, Virginia, 15 Sep 1809 and died at Port Washington, Tuscarawas, Ohio, 12 Aug 1895, daughter of Vincent Chambers and Sarah Koons.
"During the War of 1812, when he was one year old, the Indians has a camp on the high bank (west of the, near-by, Tuscarawas river) now occupied by the site of west Massillon" - HRN
"He practiced medicine at Sandville, and New Cumberland, and Waynesburg, and Lock Seventeen, and Port Washington, all in Tuscarawas, Ohio. He set up a practice, at the last named place, in 1842, and retired from practice, in 1868; prospected successfully for iron ore, in this State, and in Michigan, and became very wealthy." - HRN
