Biography

George Nesbitt 1695 Rector coll. July 29th (F.F.). He was supposedly the eldest son of James Nesbitt by Margaret daughter of Andrew Knox and married Catherine daughter of Alex. Conyngham of Ballydavit

  • Rev Andrew Nesbitt born 1701/7 son of Rev George said to be born at Drumlugh Entered Dublin Trinity College 1716/17 BA 1721 MA 1724 (a Rev Mr Andrew Nesbitt’s will dated 1768 leaves all to daughter Anne Gilford Nesbitt of Dublin John Tredenick of Camlin and ??? Janice Montgomery of Cloverhill executors rector of Killy begs 1739-1759.

March 1st 1727/8, aged 16, Sch. 1730 BA 1732 MD. who married July 1747, Martha, widow of Sir Edward Crofton, Bart. and daughter of Joseph Damer and had issue a daughter Jane. He died in 1742.
