Joseph was born about 1842. He travelled to Victoria in May 1860, then to South Australia several months later. He purchased land in the Hundred of Coglin in 1880. He had a mixed farm in the area from 1883 until his death.[1] Joseph Clancy Nestor married Mary Ann Quinn in 1894.[2] He passed away in 1912 and was buried in Dawson Cemetery.[3][4][5]
