Annie Elizabeth was born in 1865. She was the daughter of John William Nettles and Elizabeth Garner. She is listed with her parents on both: the 1870 Census[1] and the 1880 Census.[2]
She married Lucius Beddinger DuBose (1854–1934) around 1884 (estimated on the census report) and is listed with him on the 1900 Census.[3] They are also listed together on the 1910 Census[4] and the 1920 Census.[5] Based on the data provided in the census reports it is believed that this couple had at least 9 children:
