Frederick was born in 1888. He was the son of Ferdinand Neumann. Frederick was 5'6" tall with a stout build, gray eyes and dark hair. He had a deformed left leg with which he was exempt from military service for World War I. Frederick worked as a general clerk for several companies in Pittsburgh during his working years. He passed away in 1956. He was buried at Rosedale Cemetery, Bellevue, Allegheny, Penn.
