Abraham Neveu is a part of US Black heritage.

Abraham Joseph Neveu was born on 7 April 1888 at St. Martinville, St. Martin Parish, Louisiana, USA.[1] He appeared on the census of 16 June 1900 in the household of his parents, Jean Baptiste Neveu and Elizabeth "Emma" (Abat) Neveu, at St. Martinville, St. Martin Parish, Louisiana.[2] He appeared on the census of 24 April 1910 in the household of his brother, Louis Alphonse Neveu, at St. Martinville, St. Martin Parish, Louisiana.[3]

He married Leontine Babineaux on 29 April 1916, Leontine died before 1919.[4]

He married Anita Delahoussaye, daughter of Gaston Delahoussaye and Constance Theriot,[5] 30 Nov. 1919.[4][6]

He and Anita appeared on the census of 30 Jan. 1920 at Lake Charles, Calcasieu Parish, Louisiana.[6]

Abraham died on 16 May 1937 at Houston, Harris County, Texas, at age 49 and was buried at Holy Cross Cemetery, Houston, Harris County, Texas.[7] His memorial has a photo of his headstone and information from his death certificate.[8]
