Eleanor is sometimes said to be the "Lily of Lumley" ... Ralph's murdered wife -- turned ghost -- of Lumley Castle.[1] She is not. In fact, she outlived her husband.[2]
She is also mistakenly referred to as the "Rose of Raby." According to Milner (1904), that title belongs to her niece, Cecily Neville, Duchess of York.[2]
