Catherine Stafford and Ralph Neville, 4th earl of Westmorland, were married circa 1523.[1]Edward Neville was one of 18 children by Catherine and Ralph and was likely born between 1525/1527 in Raby, Durham, England. [2]
Death
Edward died without issue.[3] It appears that his death may have occurred during childhood, as his father's monument inscription lists the names of both Edward and John, yet there is no mention of either in their father's will.[4]
Research Notes
After an intensive search, very little information has been located for this profile, which could be explained if Edward did in fact die at an early age.
The mention of John as a son of Ralph, 4th earl of Westmorland, needs further investigation (see citation 4).
