Sarah Ellen was born in 1869, the daughter of Robert Nevison and Ann (Pape) Nevison[1]
and in 1871 the family are living in Stainton, South Stockton.

In 1891 Sarah married John William Royer. John worked as a Corporation Labourer,
[3]
and continued this work until at least 1911.

By 1911 the couple have had 8 children two who died as infants.
[5]
In the 1921 census Sarah (age 52), Home Duties, was the wife of John W Royer at 37 Richmond Street, Middlesbrough, Yorkshire (North Riding), England.[6]
Husband John died about 1833 and in 1939 Sarah is now a widow and her yougest son Charles is living with her.

Research Notes I have not yet found the family in the 1891 census.
Also note that date of marriage has been input as 2 April 1891. Maybe they went on Honeymoon as census was 5 April 1891.This date was on the profile before I adopted it. I have no source to confirm that date, but I expect it will be correct, and maybe 'first hand information'.
