Biography

Perry is believed to have been born around 1819 at Bertie the son of John from about 1801, himself the son of George from around 1758, the son of Thomas Mewboorn c1729, the second son of Thomas Mewboorn progenitor of the North Carolina Mewborns. Much of this descent from George is hypothetical.

Perry's death date is assumed since his wife, Ann, remarried with Miles Sawyer in 1856 at Currituck.
