Biography
Clara was born in 1868 in Pirton, Hertfordshire, and baptised on 9 August 1868 in Ickleford, Hertfordshire, the daughter of John Newberry and Catherine Reynolds. [1]
In 1871 she was living with her parents at Ickleford - John Newbury head marr 34 ag lab b Ickleford; Catherine Newbury wife 24 b Pirton; Clara Newbury dau 2 b Pirton; Annie Newbury dau 1 b Ickleford.[2]
She was living in Ickleford, Herts. in 1881 - Catherine Newbury head marr 34 straw plaiter b Pirton; Clara Newbury dau 12 b Pirton; Annie dau 11 b Ickleford; Herbert 8 b Ickleford; William 5 b Ickleford; Florence 2 b Ickleford; Gertrude 4 mths b Ickleford.[3]
She died in the September quarter 1882 in Hitchin registration district age 14.[4]
