Biography

Benjamin Newberry was born at Windsor, Connecticut, on the closing day of January, 1692, a son of Capt. Benjamin Newberry and Hannah (Sackett) [Dewey] Newberry; he married Ruth Porter of Windsor on the 24th of April, 1717. He is understood to be the Benjamin Newberry who died at Windsor on the 11th of September, 1718, just three weeks after the August 22nd birth of the couple's son -- also Benjamin.[1]
