Biography
Jerusha Newcomb was born on July 24, 1751, in Wellfleet, Barnstable County, Massachusetts, the daughter of William and Vashti Newcomb.[1]
She married Benjamin Higgins (Higgins-1978) 9 Feb 1775. (Higgins, 1918 p. 198-9). Their children include:
Hannah, b. 14 Dec. 1775 Eunice, b. 16 Apr 1778 William, b. 14 Aug 1780 Nancy, b. 14 Mar 1783 Sarah, b. 2 Jun 1786 Jerusha, b. 15 Feb 1787 and Benjamin, b. 19 Sep 1792
