Biography

Sarah was born in 1821. Her parents were Emanuel Newcomer and Catherine (Funk) Newcomer.

She married (1) Jonathan Martz in 1843. [1]

She married (2) William Funk in 1846. [2]

In 1860 they were living in Illinois with 5 children: Anna, John, Austin, Sarah and Lydia. Also living with them was Maude Stuff. [3]

In 1880 she was 58 and living in Kansas with husband, daughter Lidda Funk and grandson W H Funk. [4]

She passed in 1894.

Sarah was buried in Greenwood Cemetery, Jennings, Jefferson Davis Parish, Louisiana. [5]
