Marjorie E or R Newell was born in 1925-1926^[1][2][3][4] in Jamestown, Chautauqua County, New York, United States^[1][2][3][4]. She was the daughter of Roy Bieseckler Newell^[1][2][3][5] and Stella May Dohn^[1][2][3][5].

She went to a church college in Nyack, New York. After graduation she was home missionary in the Kentucky mountains... Approximatly 1948-1955... She then went to Chicago to work in the church's Christian Book Store. Here she met Bill McIntosh^[6]

Marjorie married Rev William Thomas McIntosh^[4][5].

Marjorie and her husband had at least 1 and possibly 3 or 4 children, including: David William McIntosh^[7][4][8][5].
