Biography

This profile is part of the Nelson, New Hampshire One Place Study.

Gad was born to Isaac Newell and Rachel Pomeroy Newell on the 10th of September in 1763 in Southington, Connecticut.

Gad caught a fever and died on 25 February of 1859 [1] He was buried in the Nelson Cemetery. Nelson, Cheshire County, New Hampshire. It is said that he was buried directly below where his pulpit had stood before the church was moved down the hill. [2]
