All of Anthony's siblings migrated to Australia:

On 20 November 1849, Anthony was married in the Presbyterian church in West Maitland, New South Wales to Ann Agnes Leith (known as Agnes), from County Antrim, Ireland. [10]
Anthony and Agnes had a large family:
Esther Ann Newell (1851–1931), [11][12] married Stewart Smith
His wife Agnes died 10 Oct 1884 in Stroud, New South Wales. [32]
Anthony died on 3 Feb 1897 also in Stroud.[33] He was buried in Buladelah, New South Wales. [34]
