Biography
Helen Newell was born about 1821.[1] She was the daughter of Harry Newell.[2]
Edward Pratt and Helen Newell, based on the age of their oldest known child, were married on 23 May 1844 at Davenport, Delaware, New York.
- "Davenport, 23d inst., Rev. E. Sumner, Edward PRATT, M.D. of Milford, NY to Helena dau Harry NEWELL of Davenport."[2]
Helen Newell Pratt passed away in 1868.[1] She is buried at the Milford Cemetery, Milford, Otsego, New York, where is is memorialized under the same stone as her husband Edward Pratt, M.D.[1]
