Biography

Charlotte (Newey) Astley was born in Staffordshire, England.

Charlotte was born in 1877. She was the daughter of Samuel Newey and Jane Wooldridge. ^{[1] [2]}

She married Richard Pennant Astley in 1901. ^[3] They had two children by 1911: Doris Beryl and Clifford Pennant. ^[4]

Charlotte passed away at the age of 79 in 1957. ^[5]

Research Notes

She was mistakenly listed as "Charles" in the 1881 census. ^[6] There are no other records for a Charles Newey born at that time. Corrections have been made. McHugh-842 13:02, 5 June 2021 (UTC)
