Rhoda Newland, daughter of Samuel Newland and Harriet Sophia Morgan, ^[1][2] was born in about November 1839 in East Meon, Hampshire. ^[1][3] She was baptised on 19 January 1840 in East Meon, Hampshire. ^[2]

Residence
On 30 March 1851 in Tithing of Bordean, Petersfield, Hampshire, with her parents Samuel Newland and Harriett Newland and her siblings William Newland aged 17, Ann Newland aged 6 and George Newland aged 4. ^[1]
