Ellen (Newman) Phillips was born in the Colony of South Australia (1836-1900)
Ellen Newman was born on 24 Oct 1879 at Kooringa in South Australia, daughter of Benjamin Newman and Eliza Haskard. [1]
Ellen married William Henry Phillips (1875-1956), 28 year old son of Joseph and Elizabeth Phillips, on 28 Jan 1903 at St Mary Church in Kooringa (later Burra), South Australia. [2]
William and Ellen had at least one son, Bruce Haskard (1904-1979) who was born in Popanyinning, Western Australia.
Ellen died on 23 Jan 1914 and was buried at Brookton Cemetery in Brookton, Western Australia. [3]
