Biography
Immigrated to America in 1640. Elizabeth Newman's sister Martha is believed to be the wife of Nicholas Morris who was the father-in-law of Capt. John Haynie; Martha and Elizabeth Haynie, mentioned in the will, being Capt. John's daughters. It seems very unlikely or impossible that Robert Newman is Martha's father. The dates cannot be made to work.
