James, son of James Newman and Kat McFarland was born about 1875 in Finnea, Ireland. He was a rancher in Kamloops British Columbia. On 18 Feb 1901 James Newman and Claudia Menanteau were married in Sacred Heart Church, Kamloops. [1]
