Newman-981 and Newman-5183 are not ready to be merged because: I believe the Sarah's are the same, but the Tuttle book seems to indicate Samuel Newman as Sarah's father, even though I always thought it would be Richard Newman (I believe is was Richard Newman's barn where the New Haveners agreed on governance...

Newman-5183 and Newman-981 are not ready to be merged because: There are different children. Descendants of William & Elizabeth Tuttle pp. 24-25 does not make clear which of Samuel Tuttle's children are children of Sarah Newman and which are children of Abigail Frost. But, it appears Samuel and Sarah are parents of 8 children and that Samuel married Abigail Frost (widow of Thomas Barnes and mother of 15 children by that marriage) later. The Tuttle book lists Samuel's children (all of whom appear to be children of Sarah Newman) as: Mary, Jemima, Stephen, Abigail, Martha, Josiah, Sarah and Daniel. My interest is Samuel's son, Josiah Tuttle. Want to make sure all children are listed. Also I had Sarah's father as Richard Newman, but the Tuttle book indicates she is daughter of Samuel Newman. Just need to clear this up
