Elma was born in 1921. She was the daughter of James Gatlin Newman. She passed away in 2012.

  • FRAIKIN, ELMA NEWMAN, was born in Sumter, SC, Apr. 7, 1921. She shared 67 years of her life married to Melvin (Buck) Fraikin. Together they danced, lived, loved and raised three children: Pat, Len and Betty. Her husband and son preceded her in death. God called her home Mar. 22, 2012. Elma is survived by her two daughters, Patti Tarnecki and Betty Stalbaum (Todd); grandsons Mark, Brian and Ethan; and great- grandchildren Sammi, Traci and Brandon.
