Variants of this profile claim that she was born in either England, or else Northumberland, Virginia, USA. However, that Virginia birth seems highly unlikely, in the absence of a good source, considering that it would have been only six years after the near-calamitous 1607 settling of nearby Jamestown. So for now I am going to presume that England is the correct location of Jane's birth.
