Nimrod dated his will on 6 Mar 1815 in Grainger County, Tennessee.
The will was first entered into probate on 21 Nov 1846 in Grainger County, Tennessee. It was then entered into the Carroll County Virginia court for probate on 30 Apr 1858.[1]

Johann Gerhardt Nuimann [2] had the same dream of every other immigrant and that was to achieve happiness. He brought Nimrod and his brother Conrad to Philadelphia. They later moved to Virginia. Nimrod served in the British army during French and Indian war as a fifer which is a flute player. After the war he lived in peace but he would later fight for the rebels in the revolution. In 1776 he enlisted in Captian Adam clements Virginia militia at Bedford county. The unit Was sent to assist general green in the SC campain of 1781. After the war he was given 354 acres for his service. He opened up a Grist mill with his brother Conrad who also served in the revolution. He moved to Grayson and Bedford county. He finnaly settled in grainier county Tennessee. He owned lots of land in Grayson county VA and Beford county VA. He married Sarah Arthur (1739-1818) in 1763, they had 13 children.[3]
