Two probable children of John and Elizabeth have been identified. They have not been attached as individual profiles to John and Elizabeth, as the research of their family group to date is not supported by corroborations that it can be considered beyond coincidence. The probable children identified are; Mary Newport, christened 7 Aug 1748. at Winterborne,, Stickland ^[5] Edward Newport, christened 18 Mar 1749 at Winterborne Stickland 1749, Stickland^[6] Regrettably, Edward Newport was buried on 25 Jun 1750 at Winterborne, Stickland^[7]

John died in 1772 and was buried on 5 Aug 1772 at Winterborne, Stickland, Dorset ^[8]
