Biography
Henry Newport was born in 1851 in Appleby, Tasman, his father, Walter, was 24 and his mother, Frances, was 25. He married HenrIetta BETTS and they had one son together. He then married Susan Whiting and they had ten children together. He died on 28 September 1928 in Karori, Wellington, at the age of 77, and was buried in Wellington.
