Biography
Jesse Newport was born in 1734, son of Thomas Newport and Anne Barker who were married in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania where Jesse was probably born.
He was mentioned in his father Thomas's will. [1]
He married Elizabeth Long abt 1758 as their first child was born in 1759. The location was then Worcester County, Maryland, to become Sussex county Delaware in 1775.
In Dec 1777, he and 1st wife Elizabeth (and children with option to decide when of age) became Quakers[2]
His 2nd wife was also named Elizabeth (Ellison, b 1740); their marriage was described as "of PA"

Sometime in the late 1780s or early 1790s, they moved to Fayette County Pennsylvania, where records from the Friends' Westland Monthly Meeting mention them.
He died in Trumbull Co. OH in 1807; in 1806 he was residing in Warren County, Ohio. (note: there is also a city of Warren in Trumbull Co.)
